Sitting in front of fake news reporters in the Oval Office, President Trump was talking about the Mueller investigation, his ‘testimony’ and was calling it a “disgrace” for all the investigating and effort put into it by the left and after two years: “they have nothing.”

Trump went on to say that the investigation was “so destructive to the country” and said that it’s the reason Republicans are going to take back the House, and keep the Senate.
Personally, I think this kind of investigation is long overdue. The amount of skeletons hiding in the closet of Democrats has to be enormous, especially considering the fact that the Democrats pushed so hard against Trump. Usually, if a Democrat comes down hard on a Republican for something, you can bet they’re somehow guilty of the same thing.
Clinton and the Clinton Foundations connections to the Uranium One scandal, for instance, could do with a bit more investigating. Also, what were the connections between Obama and Clinton during the 2016 elections? What was James Comey up to with his recently discovered spy in the White House? Were there connections to Democrat officials there?
These are all questions that, if the swamp is to be fully drained, we need the answers to.
William Barr has formed a team to investigate counterintelligence decisions made by Justice Department and FBI officials, including actions taken during the probe of the Donald Trump campaign in 2016. Barr is looking into allegations that the investigation into Trump and possible collusion with Russia was bogus from the jump by anti-Trump bias in the FBI and Justice Department, looking for an ‘insurance policy’ should Trump prevail.
Bloomberg reports Barr told a House panel this week; “I am reviewing the conduct of the investigation and trying to get my arms around all the aspects of the counterintelligence investigation that was conducted during the summer of 2016.”
Republican Representative Robert Aderholt of Alabama asked Barr if the Justice Department is investigating “how it came to be that your agency used a salacious and unverified dossier as a predicate for FISA order on a U.S. citizen?” The reference is the “Steele Dossier” put together as opposition research against Trump, with funding from the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign. They allege officials improperly relied on that dossier to obtain a secret warrant to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and was the beginning of the “witch hunt” and that Mueller took over after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.
Comey, however, rejected that assertion last year when he testified before Congress. He said the investigation was opened the officials learned that another Trump campaign aide, George Papaopoulous “had with an individual in London about stolen emails that the Russians had that would be harmful to Hillary Clinton.”
Mueller concluded his investigation last month and Barr summarized the contents in a March 24 letter, revealing that the special counsel did not “establish” that associates or members of the Trump campaign coordinated or conspired with the Russian government.
