Opinion by Ray Draper: This is not a re-run from 2016 – it was this week. Not kidding. Adam “Shifty” Schiff (D-CA) called President Trump an “un-indicted co-conspirator” on CBS’ “Face the Nation” – indicating Trump will be indicted after he leaves office for “coordinating and directing” his campaign to colluding with Russia.
COLLUSION WITH RUSSIA. This is The Ranking Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Let that sink in as you watch the hackiest hack of them all pushing the Russia-collusion conspiracy, years after it’s been investigated to tears and nothing was found – even by Mueller and his team of Democrats.
I’m not accusing Schiff of beating a dead horse here – I’m saying he’s purchased a case of dog food, scraped it all out onto the floor, shaped it into a horse sculpture and is whipping it with a piece of cooked linguine. Okay, that’s not a great analogy, but Schiff is not a great intellect and even Democrats must be embarassed at some point, right? Wrong. Watch:
When Schiff was the committee’s ranking member he demanded the recusal of then chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) under the pretense that Nunes had meetings with President Trump’s national security council officials without telling the committee’s other members.
Schiff assailed Nunes’s contacts with a source outside the committee confines as “a dead-of-night excursion” and said it called into question the impartiality of the inquiry because the committee wasn’t informed.
Margaret Brennan interviewed Schiff ahead of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony before the House Intelligence committee Wednesday. Although, the Mueller report cleared the Trump campaign from then-alleged collusion with Russia, Schiff insists on beating a dead horse.
“We want Bob Mueller to bring it to life, to talk about what’s in that report. It’s a pretty damning set of facts that involve a presidential campaign in a close race welcoming help from a hostile foreign power, not reporting it, but eagerly embracing it, building it into their campaign strategy, lying about it to cover up, then obstructing an investigation into foreign interference again to try to cover up,” said Schiff.

Trey Gowdy Returns to TV, Rips Adam Schiff a New *hole & Exposes His Phony Russia Collusion Nonsense
Schiff called Trump’s comments “a losing strategy.” However, Trump immediately clarified that his tweets “were NOT racist” and that he doesn’t “have a racist bone” in his body.

Right on cue, here comes CAIR. The Washington-based Council on American-Islamist Relations (CAIR) condemned Trump’s comments and issued a statement through their National Executive Director Nihad Awad:
“Trump’s latest racist tweets echo the bigoted shouts of ‘go back where you came from’ heard daily by American Muslim women and children, immigrants and members of other minority communities across our nation. It is sad to see the occupant of the Oval Office transition from empowering and encouraging racist taunts to actually using them himself,” Awad said. “If Trump shouted the same thing at a Muslim woman wearing hijab in a Walmart, he might be arrested.”
Omar has fundraised for CAIR, the influential civil rights group for Muslims. CAIR has been condemned by conservatives, who say the group unfairly labels its critics as Islamophobic. They are in fact religious bigots and racists themselves.
Justin Amash who just left the Republican Party and is leaning more and more leftward these days kicked dirt on Trump too. So did Never-Trumper David French. Just disgraceful. They let their dislike for the president discolor their view on events and all it does is hurt Americans in general.
Matt Wolking the deputy director of communications for Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign, got in on the action as well and said the media was already mischaracterizing the president’s comments. “Anyone who says the president told members of Congress to go back to where they came from is lying,” he wrote on Twitter. “He told them to “Then come back and show us how it is done.” He is absolutely right on this.
I reject @realDonaldTrump’s xenophobic comments meant to divide our nation. Rather than attack Members of Congress, he should work with us for humane immigration policy that reflects American values. Stop the raids – #FamiliesBelongTogether!
