Warren Buffet is a smart guy. He didn’t get to be a billionaire by not knowing who to cozy up to. When he first cozied up to President Obama he soon purchased the Burlington Northern train company: and it paid off.
Barack Obama, in the four years following, has prevented the XL pipeline from being built so that oil and gas has to be shipped to the coast somehow and by someone–guess who?
Answer: Warren Buffet’s Burlington Railroad. Pretty smart move.
Now, what does he know about Hillary’s intentions as president?
Billionaire investor Warren Buffett made a bold prediction about the 2016 presidential race at Fortune’s “The Most Powerful Women” summit in California on Tuesday.
Buffett said, “Hillary is going to run.” Furthermore, he added that he’s positive she will make it to the White House.
“Hillary is going to win,” Buffett said, adding, “I will bet money on it, I don’t do that easily.”
Buffett was less willing to predict who might run against Clinton.
“Her opponent will be whoever wins the Republican primary and there’s going to be a lot of people who want to do it,” said Buffett.
Clinton, a former first lady, secretary of state, and 2008 presidential candidate, has said she will decide whether to run by the end of this year.
