Leftist actress and singer Bette Midler appears to be intent on portraying herself as a witch in real life and not just in the movies. Once again, her hatred is aimed at Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) over his criticism of the Kurds by lauding his neighbor who brutally beat the senator, breaking several of his ribs in his Kentucky yard in 2017 and costing him part of a lung. More civility and tolerance from the left.
“I DO NOT promote violence but… Rand Paul says the Kurds are being ‘ingrates’ for taking their frustrations out on US troops. Which is a good reminder for us all to be more grateful for the neighbor who beat the sh*t out of Rand Paul,” Bette Midler said. She has spewed venomous hatred at Paul before and she outright calls for violence against him. This is nothing new for Bette Midler.

“Earlier Wednesday, Paul appeared on ABC News’ Powerhouse Politics podcast and said the Kurds are acting like “ingrates” toward U.S. troops withdrawing from northern Syria by throwing potatoes at them.
“We saved the Kurds from being beheaded and massacred by ISIS,” Sen. Paul said. “They were able to win with our armament, with our Air Force, and they should be thanking us and throwing rose petals. And so, no, I’m offended by them throwing refuse at our troops. And it shows them to be ingrates.”
“Midler’s Wednesday tweet is far from the first instance in which she’s endorsed physical violence against a Republican.

“Midler faced blowback in June over a deleted tweet in which she fantasized about President Trump being stabbed to death. Last year, the Hollywood leftist said she hoped to watch the president’s funeral on television and expressed her desire to see him and his entire family hanged.
“In September, she said that she hoped a “bee hive” would harm President Donald Trump, and fantasized about singer Beyonce beating the president in 2020.
“#Beyoncé has 133 million Instagram followers. More than double the people who voted for Trump. Wouldn’t it be amazing if the #BeyHive mobilized to defeat him? I also wouldn’t mind if a regular bee hive f*cked his sh*t up,” Midler said.”
Classy as ever. Midler’s tweet is now gone. Either she got such blowback she deleted it or Twitter took it down. Good… but it does show just what kind of person Bette Midler truly is.
Rand Paul was assaulted by neighbor Rene Boucher in November of 2017 while he was mowing his lawn. He was tackled from behind and suffered six broken ribs, including three displaced fractures. His recovery was complicated by fluid and blood around the lungs and pneumonia. He ultimately had part of his lung removed in August 2019. The neighbor claimed it was not political, but everyone knows it was.
Following the assault, Paul was awarded nearly $600,000 in damages. That’s a pittance and far from just. Boucher was originally sentenced in federal court to only 30 days in prison, but the sentence was later vacated and remanded to a lower court for resentencing, as the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals determined that his sentence was not harsh enough. Good for them — the guy should have the book thrown at him over this.
Paul is no stranger to being accosted and assaulted by those on the left. One wonders why there are no consequences for someone like Bette Midler calling for violence against a sitting senator. Oh, that’s right… she’s from leftist Hollywood where celebrities evidently get a pass from the media, the left, and the law for anything and everything.
