Jordan Sekulow is the brother of Jay Sekulow, one of President Trump’s White House attorneys. Jordan serves as the Executive Director of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), a position brother Jay created and served in until moving to the WH.
Jordan confirmed the findings of investigative journalist Paul Sperry, possibly after conferring with the president’s attorney:
Two U.S. officials briefed on the inspector general’s investigation of possible FBI misconduct said Comey was essentially “running a covert operation against” the president, starting with a private “defensive briefing” he gave Trump just weeks before his inauguration. They said Horowitz has examined high-level FBI text messages and other communications indicating Comey was actually conducting a “counterintelligence assessment” of Trump during that January 2017 meeting in New York.
In addition to adding notes of his meetings and phone calls with Trump to the official FBI case file, Comey had an agent inside the White House who reported back to FBI headquarters about Trump and his aides, according to other officials familiar with the matter.
Now, the New York Times has printed details that the CIA had an seemingly anti-Trump operative on assignment within the National Security Council.
(New York Times) — The whistle-blower who revealed that President Trump sought foreign help for his re-election and that the White House sought to cover it up is a C.I.A. officer who was detailed to work at the White House at one point, according to three people familiar with his identity.
The man has since returned to the C.I.A., the people said. Little else is known about him. His complaint made public Thursday suggested he was an analyst by training and made clear he was steeped in details of American foreign policy toward Europe, demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of Ukrainian politics and at least some knowledge of the law.
Take a stroll down memory lane before Donald Trump was even inaugurated:
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer: “Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community they have six ways to Sunday in getting back at you.”
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow followed up by asking what Schumer “thought the intelligence agencies might do if they were motivated to?”
Schumer: “I don’t know but from what I understand they are very upset with how he has treated them and talked about them.”
Remember when Iowa Senator Frank Church got then CIA Director William Colby to admit they had an extensive web of CIA paid operatives in most, if not every area of the mainstream media (newspapers, television news, periodicals, radio news, etc.) charged with directing a narrative to influence the way Americans think and what they believe?
That was 1975. The CIA budget, and influence, has grown exponentially since that time.
Harry Truman has ordered the formation of the CIA as an intelligence source to serve only one person – the president. It has grown to serve itself. An as such, an agency above the law with an apparent ‘licence to kill’, is immeasurably dangerous to the very existence of our republic.
The CIA seems to have ceased being solely an intelligence-gathering agency, apparently virtually immediately after Truman authorized its founding.
At that point the CIA has seemingly moved into formulating policy and carrying out covert activities to affect public policy regardless of who the president was or what he promised the voters.
